Unconditional Yes

Unconditional Yes (2010), is a mixed-media installation and performance undertaken in collaboration with the Simmons College community. It was on view at the Trustman Gallery from March 20 – April 18, 2010.

In this project, I am sought answers to the question, "Have you ever made a decision with an unconditional yes?" Combining new knitted and crocheted works with text, objects, and artwork contributed by faculty, staff, students, and alumnae, the exhibition was both inclusive and provocative. Transforming the gallery’s center into a temporary “living room,” I hosted periodic knit-togethers during the course of the installation. A knitted trail pieced together from communal donations led visitors to the “living room.”
